Edward Parsons - Founder & Managing Partner
With 25 years of experience in senior finance roles, I have served as a strategic CFO and financial advisor to senior management and Founder/CEOs. My background includes working in two family offices with significant assets under management (AUM). I led a private equity deal at HH Global and was part of the executive team that executed the US 'Take Private' of Innerworkings Inc. Additionally, I played a key role in the acquisition of Adare International and later focused on integration and synergy realisation. My expertise lies in driving business growth by scaling small to large entrepreneur-led businesses and enhancing finance functions globally. I have deep experience across back-office functions and have lived and worked in multiple countries. I am a Chartered Management Accountant (Fellow) and an MBA graduate from London Business School.
Melanie Crockett - Co-Founder & COO
As a strategic CFO with over 20 years of global experience across diverse sectors such as digital/creative, tech (including cleantech, fintech, and biotech), FMCG, ecommerce, leisure, and private wealth, I specialize in driving business growth. I provide financial advisory services to start-ups, both bootstrapped and funded, as well as growth companies navigating funding rounds and exits. My experience includes working with VC/PE-backed firms and group companies like WPP. I support founders, CEOs, and boards through periods of growth and change, helping to build out teams and transform finance and operational processes. My M&A experience encompasses post-acquisition consolidation. I possess strong communication skills and serve as an ongoing mentor for financial professionals globally, and I am a Chartered Management Accountant (Fellow).
Simon Pyper - Affiliate
With 20 years of C-suite experience as both CFO and CEO, Simon has a proven track record in driving business growth through significant M&A activities, including acquisitions, disposals, and cross-border transactions. He possesses extensive UK public market experience, including both FTSE-250 and AIM listings. Simon excels in change management and business re-engineering across multiple sectors, ensuring that organizations can adapt and thrive. As a strategic CFO, he effectively communicates with investors, boards, and management teams, bringing clarity, momentum, and confidence to businesses navigating change. Simon provides financial advisory services to SMEs and mid-sized companies as a fractional CFO and senior advisor, offering support across a range of finance, operational, and strategic matters. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds an MBA.
Teresa - Affiliate
Teresa is a Finance Director with over 30 years’ experience managing finance teams in all aspects of finance and driving growth, turnaround, and acquisition strategies across SMEs and FTSE-listed organisations. She combines financial rigour with entrepreneurial acumen, having worked alongside founders and boards from start-up through to scale and exit.
During her career, Teresa has been responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, including reporting to the Stock Exchange and Boards of Directors, and has built and managed finance teams in fast-growing and changing environments. As part of an MBO team, Teresa helped transform a loss-making business into a profitable, multi-brand group of companies in the property claims and restoration sector. Teresa is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA graduate from London Business School.
Heather Osborne - Affiliate
With over 20 years of global experience, Heather is a senior finance transformation leader who has delivered large-scale change across FTSE100, NYSE-listed, and high-performing growth organisations, as well as start-ups and SME's. Heather has led multi-year organisation, finance and governance transformations, including Barclays plc separation programme, scaling teams and achieving significant cost, control, and efficiency gains. She has designed and implemented global target operating models, built high-performing international teams, and delivered shared-service transitions, achieving a 25% cost reduction. Heather works closely with boards and C-Suites to strengthen execution discipline, improve transparency, and drive integration, optimisation, and systems consolidation. Her sector experience spans financial services, fintech, infrastructure investment, consumer goods, and global professional services. Heather is a Chartered Accountant.
